TNFRSF17是一种通常在b细胞上表达的细胞表面受体。它由来自TNF 13b超家族和TRAF家族的配体激活。在激活时，它传递参与NF-kb和JNK/MAPK8通路激活的信号。

在t细胞急性淋巴细胞中，TNFRSF17的染色体错误与NF-kb和JNK的异常激活有关。NF-kb和JNK通路的异常激活有助于癌细胞的增殖、转移、生成和的凋亡。
